En este artículo publicado por La Nación hablo acerca de cómo “el impacto del aislamiento tiene sus particularidades en cada país, en cada cultura e incluso en cada individuo. Sin embargo, a un nivel general, las personas deben vérselas con la vivencia de soledad y distintos tipos de ansiedades, que van cambiando con el correr de los días. Se manifiestan en el aumento de la sintomatología psicosomática corporal y trastornos del sueño, entre otros indicadores”. También ha habido un aumento en la hostilidad y la violencia durante el período de encierro en distintas partes del mundo.

IPA On and Off the Couch

I had an online conversation with Harvey Schwartz on the “IPA On and Off the Couch” series of Podcasts, that he hosts.

In this episode I spoke about how it is for psychoanalysts to move from an in-person to an online experience. I described my personal experience of these changes, my clinical work and what the IPA is doing in the international psychoanalytic community in this difficult time.
